art from MegaCon 2008

"Atomic Robo is Not Afraid to Use a Buick"
private collection of by Scott Wegener, artist of Atomic Robo.
4x6" art card copic markers and white opaque ink (for highlights)
Atomic Robo © 2008 Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener

i know, took me forever to post these.
since this was created at a con and i lacked access to a scanner, a crappy digital camera pic was the only way i could record my art, since they now belong in the private collection of others. i've done some editing to try to get it looking right, but my apologies if it looks crappy.

i was initially disappointed by how blurry the looked, it discouraged me from posting them in the first place. hopefully, photoshop has fixed that, or at least made it tolerable.

on the rest of these, i've either forgotten the names of who bought/commissioned what, or forgot to get their names in the first place. 8^P

"Pluto Knows She's Still a Planet"
4x6" art card (or was it a 3x5" i've forgotten.)
copic markers and white opaque ink (for highlights)
Sailor Pluto

4x6" art card
copic markers and white opaque ink (for highlights)
Sailor Saturn

this couple was very cute! i love it when folks ask me to draw them! it's a pity i didn't get their names. 8^(

Kit, if you ever want to use my scanner, just say the word.

thank you, j.t.
in this case, it wasn't an issue of a scanner that wasn't working-i was at a con, miles away from my scanner. i didn't know of anyone at the con who had one i could borrow, before the artwork walked with it's new owner.
all i could do is snap a quick photo.

right now, i do have a scanner issue.
mine isn't compatible with my laptop, which is on vista. there are no plans to upgrade the drivers. i was making do by hooking up a usb flash drive or my external HD to the old computer.
that flash no longer works, the old computer won't recognize the new one.
the external HD is out of commission at the moment.

so, i may take you up on the scanner thing in the future. 8^)
